Steak Gyros

Steak Gyros

Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin steaks 2 TB olive oil
Salt and pepper 1, 4 oz. package crumbled mild feta cheese
Juice of 1 lemon 1 garlic clove minced or pressed
1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp ground coriander
2 dashes hot pepper sauce 1, 6 oz. container of Greek style plain yogurt
2 sprigs of fresh oregano chopped, stems discarded
Large pitas

Toppings such as: lettuce, cucumber, red onion, tomatoes, kalamata olives, chilis

Directions: 
1. Preheat grill to medium. Drizzle steak with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Cook for 8-10 mins for medium rare. Let cool slightly then thinly slice.
2. While steak is cooking, use a food processor, puree the feta, yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, cumin, coriander, and hot sauce. Season with salt and pepper, transfer to a bowl.
3. Char pitas on grill. Top with steak, yogurt sauce, and your choice of toppings.
